Plot: Yukari leads a virtuous and tedious life, until a group of eccentric fashion-design students recruit her off the street to be their model - and much more.
Sometimes I can be girly - don't look so surprised. And it's one these rare occasions that I watch Paradise Kiss (well, mostly Fruits Basket but one needs some variety.)
I mean, it's about clothes, and I have the fashion sense of a blind rhinoceros. But! It's really about sculpture than more than apparel, creativity, and that I can appreciate. The artwork is lovely, clear lines, bright colors, distinctive characters - once you get past the surface oddity they become real and endearing people. Not much happens in the story, but it's continually amusing and touching. The ending made me cry and desperately seek out the manga in the hope that it continued past the anime.
I'm curious, could people post screencaps of an anime they consider The Most Romantic Ever? I'm partial to Parakiss but that could be because I realllly like George ; )
